Founded in 2021, ROAM is a luxury travel agency offering curated resort, hotel, guest house, and dive boat accommodations in the Maldives. The brand aimed to create a distinctive visual identity in the luxury travel market, connecting discerning travellers to truly authentic Maldives experiences. I led the development of ROAM’s brand identity from inception, ensuring it captured the essence of luxury, cultural immersion, and a strong connection to place.

Brand Positioning
The project began by positioning ROAM as a premium lifestyle brand that offers more than just luxury accommodation. The focus was on curating bespoke, immersive experiences that connect guests to the authentic local culture. While luxury was central, the tone was kept warm and inviting, designed to appeal to global travellers seeking elegance and cultural discovery.
Logo Design
The logo embodies the serene beauty of the Maldives, paired with clean, modern typography that reflects the high-end nature of the brand. The colour palette, inspired by the ocean’s vibrant blues and the soft pinks and beiges of the sandy beaches, captures the essence of the environment. The final logo was crafted to strike a perfecct balance between elegance and accessibility, ensuring a refined yet welcoming aesthetic.
Brand Styling & Theme
The brand theme was developed to communicate modern luxury, with a set of abstract patterns and unique graphic elements. The brand styling was applied across digital and print assets—social media, website, brochures—creating a seamless and cohesive brand experience.
Brand Storytelling & Messaging
Messaging was integral to shaping ROAM’s narrative. I developed aspirational brand messaging alongside hashtags like “#goroam” and “#roamfree,” which captured the brand’s essence. The tagline, “Between the sea, sand, and sun, there’s space for you to just be” (one of my favourites), reinforces the destination’s serene and inviting character. The tone is aspirational yet welcoming, highlighting ROAM’s promise to offer transformative, deeply immersive travel experiences.

Known for showcasing the most authentic and luxurious version of the Maldives, ROAM has become synonymous with curated, high-end travel experiences.
